About OpenLife
OpenLife operates as a licensed insurance agency. We do not underwrite or issue insurance policies. All policies are underwritten and issued by our partner insurance carriers, each of which is licensed and regulated in the states where they operate.
Agency Licensing
OpenLife is licensed as an insurance agency in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Our National Producer Number (NPN) and state-specific license numbers are available upon request. To verify our licensing status, you may contact your state's Department of Insurance or visit the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR).
Product Availability
Insurance products and their features may not be available in all states. Coverage options, rates, and terms vary by state based on regulatory requirements. During the application process, we will present only the products and options available in your state of residence.
Carrier Licensing
Our partner insurance carriers are licensed and regulated in the states where they offer coverage. Each carrier maintains financial strength ratings from independent rating agencies. For details about specific carriers and their ratings, visit our Carriers page.
